WORKSHOP TOOLS

My boy's bought me this for Fathers Day, I cant wait to burn some old latex paint off of furniture 1100 degrees that should get the job done.Work force dual Halogen lights, these will light up a project and make sure everything has solid coats of paint and no more thin spots, they put out some heat, don't need that in the summer but will be nice this winter. I thought they were priced right at $29 at Home Depot.FLOETROL and BONDO both great products. FLOETROL is a latex paint additive that makes latex paint thinner and slower drying and removing roller/brush marks and giving your projects a spray finish that is to say the paint lays down flat, I also love using BONDO body filler instead of ELMER'S wood filler BONDO dries real quick and you are ready to sand/finish/paint in minutes and not hours, I still use wood filer for small shallow nicks/holes/scratches.LG 9000 BTU mobile A/C unit, had to have this it has been blazing hot in middle Tennessee so far this spring, I insulated my garage doors with the help of my sweet wife and it is now tolerable to be in the garage.I had an old Black and Decker sander that was really good at sanding and creating a dust cloud that left a layer of dust on everything in the garage, so bought this at PORTER CABLE dustless sander at Home Depot and when hooked up to my vacuum using the 1" attachment it is almost dustless, This has been a great purchase it's built well and sand's very well and is keeping my finished projects clean.Perfect Mount for drawers this is a real time saver we change pull configurations a lot and not having to make a template out of something is greatNorton sandpaper is also worth the money I like to have my porter cable power sander working and not stopping all the time to change out cheap sandpaper

  1. I have a Perfect Mount, too! I use it to work on door handles and knobs. What I like about it is that it’s easy to use, and it reduces your margin for error A LOT. I also like your heat gun. If I’m not mistaken, that 11-amp Ryobi heat gun sells at around 70 bucks at Home Depot. That’s very cheap since it does a nice job of removing paint without you having to use a scrapper.
