This was one of my favorites at the Museum, the first time we saw this we had just turned the corner and were about 50 feet from it and at first glance it was a woman eating all by her self, but it turned out she was a work of art.
This looks like a large photo until you get right up to it and read that it is an oil painting and look at the brush strokes.

ReplyDeleteWe went to DC about 6 years ago, and the Museum of Art was my favorite place. I'd love to go back~they change out the displays so often it would be like a different place each time.
If you love art, this is your museum. all the greats have paintings there, we loved it.
