My wife bought this at a garage sale and it had many coates of paint that required chemical stripping once back to bare wood it was primed with Glidden grabber primer and then hand sanded flat and level and then 3 coats of Glidden custom mix aqua on the outside and semi-gloss white on the inside of the drawers. The chrome pulls were polished and reinstalled and I think it turned out great.
I can't believe the attention to detail - painting the inside of the drawers! Do you brush paint or use a sprayer, dieing to know....
ReplyDeleteSherry, check out our workshop/garage new toys page, I share all my painting tips and I'm using a good quality brush and a 4" and 6" foam roller.
ReplyDeleteI like to paint the inside of older drawers...most of them are stained or soiled in some way and painting them makes them look new and fresh.
