$2 GARAGE SALE TABLE RADIO

Michelle found this Hitachi table radio at a garage sale for $ 2.00 and it needed the power cord repaired and that's all, it was dirty and dated looking but it worked and sounded good so we gave it a make over. We painted it with some of the Hazel color we had left over from our desk's projects and the speaker fabric was from a bunch of furniture fabric samples we bought. I didn't take any before pic's but I did find some pic's of model # K-791h on eBay and the radio pictured is about what ours looked like before we restored it.

Peacock chest gets glazed

I sold the Peacock chest, but the buyer wanted to have it glazed black and have the knobs/handles painted black also. I think this looks awesome and will probably do another piece this way.

I have to have some fun with color now and then and when
I read that peacock blue was in style this year I waited
for the right piece to come along to paint and here it is
I know it's not for every one, but I like it.
